High retention rate for newly qualified solicitors at Osborne Clarke

International law firm Osborne Clarke has retained 11 of its 12 autumn qualifiers –  a 92% retention ratewith five qualifying into its Bristol office.

Six other qualifiers will be based in its Thames Valley and London offices.

Lara Flynn, 23, and a former Cardiff University student, qualifies into the employment team, while 27 year-old Katharine Ramsay, who studied at Bristol University, joins the corporate team.

Joining the firm’s projects team are Ben Martin, 25, and Kiera Taylor, 26, from Devon and Johannesburg respectively.

Like Katharine, Ben studied at Bristol University while Kiera attended the University of Kent as well as the University of Copenhagen on her year abroad.

Rose Robson, 27, qualifies into the construction litigation team. Rose studied at Oxford University before going on to BPP University Law School to gain her Graduate Diploma in Law.

Head of the Bristol office Peter Clough said: “In Ben, Katharine, Kiera, Lara, and Rose we have five very talented and capable people. As is always the case with our trainees, it’s been fantastic to witness their progression over the last two years. Congratulations to each and every one of them on this brilliant achievement.”
