Bristol-based public relations consultancy Speed is hoping to secure its third prestigious trophy of 2017 next month when it lines up in the PR Agency of the Year category of the B2B Marketing Awards.

Speed was recently named the Most Outstanding Multi-Sector PR Agency for the second year running at the 2017 Global Excellence Awards, hosted by Corporate Vision magazine.

Judges praised its specialist knowledge and communications expertise across multiple sectors including business and corporate, consumer and lifestyle and food and hospitality PR.

The agency was also commended for its strong client retention and organic growth over the past year at the awards, which showcase the achievements of talented individuals and creative businesses from across the global marketplace.

The success followed Speed’s victory at the PRCA Dare Awards in June, when it took home the Large Consultancy of the Year trophy. The agency was singled out for its client work, culture and best practice initiatives.

Now it has been shortlisted with five other consultancies for the PR Agency of the Year title at the B2B Marketing awards at London’s Roundhouse on November 23.

Managing director Kelly Pepworth, pictured, said: “We have worked incredibly hard to define and grow our specialist PR offer in key markets, resulting in a great client portfolio and the delivery of some outstanding campaigns.

“Our focus is to help clients achieve faster. This means working in partnership with them delivering insight, challenge and creativity to find the fastest possible route to the most powerful communication solution.”

With three specialist divisions spanning Business & Corporate, Consumer & Lifestyle and Food & Hospitality, Speed’s clients include market leaders, challenger brands and category disrupting start-ups.

From our offices in London, Bristol and Birmingham, over 50 consultants, as well as other specialist services, advise a wide range of corporate, consumer, public sector and private organisations – managing reputations, building brands and fostering trust.
