Bristol communications agency Purplefish has netted six new accounts following a spate of recent senior appointments.

The client wins include Bath-based fitness subscription platform MoveGB, pictured – the UK’s largest multi-activity fitness provider – Bristol-based residential property investment and development company Hubb, and Bristol café, restaurant and lifestyle brand Spoke & Stringer.

The team also recently launched the UK’s sixth Slim Chickens restaurant in Bristol’s Cabot Circus retail centre.

Also, as part of its cause and community-focused specialism, the 12-strong agency team has been working with Wellspring Settlement in the Barton Hill area of Bristol, which will soon officially launch following the merger of Barton Hill Settlement and Wellspring Healthcare.

In addition, Purplefish has been providing communications support to Bristol City Centre BID for its Bristol Light Festival, which starts next Thursday, February 27.

Purplefish managing director Joanna Randall said: “We’re already experiencing a strong 2020 and the team has worked really hard in bringing in some great new clients.

“Our business ethos and team culture are founded on strong relationships alongside high standards of delivery and original creativity and we’re immensely proud of our achievements in the past year. It’s testament to the hard work, dedication and passion of our team.”

Purplefish started as a freelance business in 2010 and, after an initial fast-growth phase, was incorporated in 2012. The agency offers full-service communications services ranging from public relations and social media, video and content to events and experiential and strategic issues consultancy.

It has recently expanded its team with the arrival of experienced PR professionals Dani Andres and Lisa Davey.
