Origin3, the Bristol-based planning, design and development consultancy, has recruited four new members of staff to meet the continued growth of the business.

Lucy White, formerly with RPS, where she spent 15 years working in the private sector across the South West and South East, has been appointed a planning associate. She has a wealth of experience in residential, commercial and the institutional sectors.

Jane Fuller has joined as a principal planner. She has more than 15 years’ experience in the private and public sectors having worked both abroad and most recently for Brighton and Hove Council on the production of its development brief for Shoreham Harbour.

Peter Widdrington has joined the design team as an associate from Aecom having completed three years working on major infrastructure projects in India. Peter previously worked at Alan Baxter Associates for nine years in London and provides further commercial master planning strength in the established design team.

And following two previous successful appointments from UWE through its graduate training programme, Tom Wright has been appointed as a graduate.

Origin3 managing director Jonathan Orton said: “We welcome our new team members who have joined at a particularly exciting time for the business as we continue to grow. The prospects for planning and development continue to improve and we have been successful in winning a number of new commercial and residential projects in Bristol and across the south west region.”

Origin3, which has a 20-strong team based in Whiteladies Road, is involved in a number of major projects including the redevelopment of Filton Airfield, the nearby former Rolls-Royce East Works, and an urban extension at Leckhampton, Gloucestershire.
