Bristol-based global executive search firm Granger Reis has boosted its support for the Bristol Bears Women, becoming matchday sponsor for the 2023/24 Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby and Allianz Cup campaigns.

The deal, which effectively doubles Granger Reis’s support for the club, follows its successful sponsorship of last season’s home fixtures.

Granger Reis, which specialises in placing leaders across real estate, energy and infrastructure, mining & metals, industrial technologies, and supply chain sectors internationally, said the extended partnership enabled it to not only support home games for Dave Ward’s side with increased visibility but learn how team dynamics can support success.

Bristol Sport chief commercial officer Sarah Farrar said the club was delighted to extend the partnership between Bristol Bears Women and Granger Reis for the 23/24 season.

“Bears Women’s team is made up of a wealth of talent and different skillset that blend together to achieve success, mirroring the role Granger Reis plays in sourcing the very best talent for their clients to drive influential change in the world of business,” she added.

“Granger Reis’ continued support both on and off the field is invaluable and we look forward to working closely with them throughout the season.”

Granger Reis managing partner Jamie Page said the firm had been extremely impressed with the Bears’ professionalism and commitment last season in the Allianz Premier 15s – the previous named for the Allianz Premiership Women’s Rugby – when they finished third and won 11 of their 18 games.

“It is an exciting time for the women’s game, and we will be cheering the Bears on wholeheartedly for the 2023/24 stretch – we know they’ve got what it takes to lift that trophy,” he added.

Founded in 2008 and now employing more than 40 people, Granger Reis has developed into one of the UK’s leading international executive search firms and headhunters, specialising in infrastructure, real estate, natural resources, energy and industrial technologies.

Its clients include housebuilder Redrow, transport giant First Group and property developer Stanhope.
