Bristol business support organisation BRAVE Enterprise is running training events during Global Entrepreneurship Week – which starts next Monday – to help people start and grow their own businesses.

Its free Thinking about Business seminar on Wednesday November 16 is for anybody considering going into business for the first time.

This event will help anyone in the very early stages of thinking about starting their own business but not sure what steps to take. It will help them get their thoughts in order and their business idea on track.

BRAVE is also running a Starting in Business workshop on Thursday November 17. This all-day session is for those who have thoroughly researched their business idea.

It is all about preparation – preparing themselves, their finances and their business plan. They will get expert advice and encouragement and be equipped with the tools to take their business idea from the drawing board to reality.

Aspiring entrepreneurs can also learn how to publicise their new ventures at BRAVE’S Promote Your Business With PR workshop, also on Thursday.

This workshop is for anyone who wants to know how to promote their business through the media. It will equip them with the essential skills needed to generate valuable publicity in the local, trade and consumer press. They will also learn how to write engaging and shareable content for social media.

All workshops are held at BRAVE, The Coach House, 2 Upper York Street, Bristol BS2 8QN. To book a place, visit www.brave.org.uk or call 0117 944 5330.
