Get on track with the Greater Western Franchise

The new Greater Western Franchise is offering the opportunity to set priorities for a cost effective local rail network at the West of England Rail Conference at Mercure Holland House Hotel on November 4.

Speakers will include representatives from the Department for Transport, rail industry and user groups and an interactive workshop on priorities will take place. If you want more details and to take part email Julia Dean at julia.dean@westofengland.org

Following the conference and lunch there will be an opportunity to explore the local rail network, courtesy of a special train provided by First Great Western.  It is hoped to travel up the Portishead line and also on the Severn Beach and Henbury loop lines.  There are no restrictions on attendance at the conference but places on the train are limited and may be restricted to one per organisation.
