The specialist teams in international commercial property firm Colliers’ Bristol office have been strengthened by the arrival of four more surveyors.

Sam Williams (development consulting) Jay Risdale (corporate restructuring) Gemma Daly (valuation) and Tom Watkins (industrial) join as the firm seeks to maintain the impetus of a restructuring in March which followed its integration into the worldwide Colliers network.

Head of the Bristol office Tim Davies said: “The deal has raised the company’s profile in the UK. Our new financial backing will allow us to compete in all sectors across the region.

“Although the commercial property sector continues to present many challenges we have more than a dozen specialist teams operating in specific market sectors to ensure we bring maximum expertise to bear for each and every client.

“Bristol is one of the UK’s most important financial centres ideally placed to attract inward investment and while some regions have been badly hit by the recession, Bristol has fared better.

“We are confident the local economy will take off when the recovery gathers pace and we need to take advantage of this to be in pole position.”
