Branding and communications agency Future Kings has appointed former SS Great Britain Trust deputy CEO and director of marketing and visitor experience Sally Cordwell as business director.

Sally, pictured, will be working in Future Kings’ Bristol office alongside creative director Tony Stiles to support existing clients, launch a new venture and grow the business.

She has more than 15 years’ experience in senior marketing roles in the heritage, visitor attraction, charity and public sector, and has served in a number of other roles in Bristol, including non-executive director for St Paul’s Carnival Community Interest Company.

Future Kings, which also has an office in London and is opening in Manchester next January, provides brand strategy, communications and employee engagement to a range of clients, including Destination Bristol, UWE, Punter Southall Group, Chetwood Financial, Royal London Group and PrivateFly.

CEO Ben Mott said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Sally into the team, although, having been a client for years and years, it feels like she already is. She’s well-known in Bristol and can help us drive our business strategy forward.

“She’s a strong communicator with great leadership qualities that will undoubtedly benefit Future Kings as whole. We’re lucky to have her.”

Sally’s appointment marks a major step in the agency’s growth plans to help build its presence in Bristol and the South West. She will also help with the Manchester office opening to support ambitious start-ups in the North of England.

Sally said: “I have worked with the Future Kings team for a number of years so have seen for myself their quality of work and the impact they can have on a business.

“This is a huge new challenge for me, particularly as it’s my first agency role. But I’m thrilled to be able to use my experience in a new way and am looking forward to working with a wide range of businesses in Bristol and beyond.”
