Jelf Employee Benefits has appointed Alan Millward as director of corporate benefits, a role in which will take on responsibility for managing and developing all aspects of their corporate pensions business, including overseeing their national expansion.

Mr Millward will also be responsible for the annuity bureau, telephone account management teams, the development of the benefits management team and online proposition.

Prior to joining Yate-based Jelf, Mr Millward was head of client and consultancy services for HSBC Workplace Retirement Services where he was responsible for overseeing all its client-facing functions.

Jelf Employee Benefits managing director Glenn Thomas said: “The experience that Alan brings will be vital to us as we continue to develop our corporate pension and retirement service in the face of the changes brought about by the Retail Distribution Review, and also to maximise the opportunities created by the introduction of auto-enrolment. The recruitment of Alan demonstrates our commitment to continue to grow our strength in this important area of our business.”

Mr Millward will sit on the Jelf Employee Benefits Executive board reporting directly to Mr Thomas.
