Former ARM Holdings vice-president joins Mitie as non-exec director

Mitie, the Bristol-based outsourcing group, is to appoint Jennifer Duvalier as a non-executive director. She will join the board next Wednesday after the group’s AGM. 

Jennifer is a non-executive director of GMG, the body that governs strategy and commercial operations of the Guardian Media Group, publisher of The Guardian newspaper and website and The Observer. 

She is also a member of Council of the Royal College of Art, and chair of its remuneration committee.

Following a career was in management consultancy and banking she became group HR director at media group Emap from October 2003 to August 2007. She then became group people and culture director at leading marketing services group UBM before joining UK tech firm ARM Holdings, where she was executive vice president, people, and an executive committee member with responsibility for people and internal communications activity. 

Mitie specialises in a range of services spanning facilities management, consultancy, project management, security, cleaning, catering and environmental services for major blue-chip clients in the public and private sectors. It’s UK head office is at Emersons Green.
