Organisers of next month’s Business Showcase South West have come up with five compelling reasons for business people to attend what will be the biggest of its kind in the region

The event, on May 14 and 15 at Bristol’s Colston Hall, will celebrate the best in innovation, creativity and enterprise and has attracted blue-chip sponsors Enterprise Rent-a-Car, First Great Western and Barclays.

The five key reasons why everyone in business in the region should book their passes are:

  • The event is free
  • It features four inspiring keynote speakers
  • Organisers are hoping to welcome up to 3,000 delegates over two days
  • Up to 90 exhibitors, with free information-packed seminars over both days
  • Networking opportunities from speed networking and 4Networking breakfasts, to a reception for the region’s leading CEOs.

The speakers are ‘Millionaires’ Mentor’ Bev James, industry icon Gerald Ratner, Levi Roots of Dragons’ Den fame, and Stella English, former winner of BBC’s The Apprentice.

Bristol Business News and its sister titles Bath Business News and Swindon Business News are media partners for the prestigious show.

Director of Business Showcase South West and Bristol entrepreneur Jamie Breese, said: “The event will inspire business people and give delegates the opportunity to learn for free from business icons and leaders and to network for two whole days in a business-driven environment.

“Business Showcase South West provides an opportunity to forge life-long business relationships.

“While we have identified five top reasons to book, there are many more. Sponsors, exhibitors and delegates told us that last year’s showcase event helped them develop their businesses and themselves.

“I would urge business people to book their free delegate pass now.”

Business Showcase South West is endorsed by leading figures from UWE vice chancellor and president of Business West Prof Steve West to the Mayor of Bristol George Ferguson.
