Bristol-based customer experience firm Cxpartners is in the running for a national financial services award for its work revolutionising the Co-op Bank’s online profile.

Cxpartners helped the bank focus on ethics, honesty and transparent customer experience in a move that has delivered dramatic results.

The project has earned Cxpartners a shortlisting in the Financial Services Experience Awards 2016, staged by Awards International, Cranfield School of Management and Customer Experience magazine.

Created to recognise and reward outstanding achievement in customer experience across a range of financial services sectors and disciplines, the awards showcase the organisations and the talented teams and individuals within them delivering outstanding customer experience.

Finalists will present their entry to a team of specialist judges at London’s Park Plaza Riverbank Hotel on July 14. The winners will be announced later that day during a gala luncheon.

Cxpartners is competing in the Delivery of a Great Customer Experience through People category.

Cxpartners user experience director Mark Hicks said: “The work we have completed with Co-op Bank is revolutionising the bank’s online profile.

“We started researching exactly what the bank’s customers want from it to inform our design process. The end result is customer service that highlights the Co-op Bank’s solid ethical credentials while providing a simple, clear and seamless digital experience.”

Awards International general manager Neil Copping added: “The quality of entries has been impressive. It’s inspirational to see so many financial services organisations taking CX seriously and using it to deliver great business results.”

Cxpartners has worked with clients such as Bristol City Council, Nationwide Building Society, the BBC, Marriott and eBay to improve their customer experience through the innovative use of cutting-edge technology.
