Regional private commercial property consultancy ETP has strengthened its team with the appointment of two new staff members and the qualification to fully qualified chartered surveyor of another.

Based in Clifton with an office in Chepstow, ETP has achieved steady growth over the past two years, which has prompted a restructuring of the business, an office move, and the growth of the team to cope with increased volume of valuations and commercial property deals.

Amy Hoskins, who has recently qualified as a chartered surveyor, said the diversity of the workload and the need to develop a wide range of business skills initially attracted her to the property sector.

“We meet lots of different people and deal with a wide range of properties and I am relishing the challenge of stepping up as a fully qualified chartered surveyor,” she said.

Amy joined ETP in 2014, having graduated from UWE in property management and investment and then working in residential valuation and agency.

Also joining the team are George Beddis and Vicky Mahoney. George will work in both of ETP’s offices and hopes to gain his chartered surveyor qualification.

Vicky brings with her a wealth of professional services experience, having previously worked for accountants PwC and Rawlinson & Hunter. She will be based in ETP’s Bristol office part time and will assist the partners in an administration role.

Partner Alastair Kimpton said: “Amy has worked for us for several years and we were thrilled she has qualified. Similarly, George and Vicky impressed us in at interview stage and we are delighted that they have joined the team.”

Amy’s qualification and the two new arrivals join the firm as the scale of development in Bristol shows no signs of abating.

“Bristol enjoys its reputation as a genuine city for the future and we are confident our larger team will help us keep pace with developments in the region’s commercial sector,” Alastair added.

ETP was originally set up in 1878, making it the oldest private commercial property practice in Bristol.

It advises lenders, developers, private individuals, owner-occupiers, accountants and small-to-medium sized enterprises in property acquisition and disposal, planning and development, valuations and property management services.

It is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and the Bristol Property Agents Association.
