VWV, the Bristol-headquartered national law firm, has bolstered the commercial litigation team in its Bristol office with the appointment of Terence Dickens as a partner.

Terence, pictured, right, with VWV partner Ed Husband, has 20 years’ experience working with clients spanning financial services firms, corporates, private individuals and public sector entities.

He has a diverse skill set in financial services litigation – including FCA supervision and enforcement matters – commercial disputes and contentious procurement cases, and has frequently worked with IFAs and investment managers.

He has joined VWV from the Bristol office of Foot Anstey, where he spent the past year as a legal director, and has also worked at RPC, Eversheds and Allen & Overy.

VWV, which has 90 partners and employs 500-plus staff across its four offices, described his arrival as marking a significant milestone for the firm in its ongoing efforts to bolster expertise across its already strong commercial litigation team.

Head of the commercial litigation and recoveries Ed Husband said he was delighted Terence had joined VWV’s growing commercial litigation team.

“His high calibre experience will complement the disputes work that the team already undertakes for high quality clients nationally while adding a new offering in financial services litigation,” he added.

Terence said: “VWV is on a clear growth trajectory and offers a fantastic platform for the future.

“I look forward to complementing the commercial litigation team’s well-established expertise but also developing something new to that on the financial services disputes side.”

As well as its Bristol headquarters, VWV also has offices in London, Watford and Birmingham.
