Bristol-based asset and property management specialist Adapt Properties has expanded its team and opened a second office in Cirencester.

Started three years ago by partners Adam Fletcher, James Taylor and Graham Payne, who combined their commercial backgrounds in banking, finance, property development and asset management, Adapt has recently recruited its fourth partner, former director in the Real Estate Finance Team for the Royal Bank of Scotland Patrick Neville.

As part of its expansion Adapt has outgrown its Clifton office and opened a second office in Cirencester town centre.

Mr Fletcher said: “Our office in Bristol proved to be a great base for us starting out. But as we have grown we’ve had to think again and, as a result, we focused on a location closer to where we live and found some excellent premises.

“Most of us have strong connections to Gloucestershire and it’s great to have the opportunity to open a base in Cirencester while still keeping a presence in Bristol.”

Adapt works with lenders, corporate occupiers and investors to realise the maximum value from their real estate and investments. The company also offers a dedicated ‘outsourced property director’ service to occupiers and businesses at board level where it assists with real estate strategy and coordinates all the complex processes and procedures involved in helping companies upsize, consolidate or extract value from their portfolio.

It recently secured a contract to act as an outsourced property director to the UK’s largest single site NHS dental practice.

Adapt is reviewing the operational nature of the North Somerset business, which employs more than 80 staff and operates from a number of converted residential buildings which cause operational and financial inefficiencies.

Adapt will co-ordinate site assembly acquisitions, provide development and funding advice, and secure additional new business space.
