BRAVE Enterprise, the not-for-profit business advice organisation based in Bristol, is holding a series of training workshops during October for those who are just starting in business and established firms looking to grow. 

All courses are held at The Coach House, 2 Upper York Street, Bristol BS2 8QN, and include:

Promote your Business with PR

Date: October 19

Time: 10am – 1pm

There are few business boosts quite as powerful or as persuasive as positive media coverage. This practical introduction to PR will equip you with the essential skills needed to generate valuable publicity in the local, trade and consumer press. You will also learn how to write engaging and shareable content for social media. The workshop is presented by Paul Mullins, pictured, an experienced PR consultant and former business journalist. 

You will learn how to:

  • Create stories about your business
  • Write newsworthy press releases
  • Pitch stories confidently to journalists
  • Write great blogs that get shared
  • Use PR to achieve your business goals

Effective Copywriting

Date: October 26

Time: 10am – 1pm

Do you want to write copy that grabs people’s attention; that persuades them to visit your website, make a purchase or buy into what you do? This workshop is aimed at those who produce brochures, flyers and other promotional materials. The workshop is presented by Ruth Kapadia who is an experienced copywriter and trainer with more than 10 years’ experience.
