The West of England Society of Chartered Accountants has appointed Edward Corrigan, founding partner of Bristol firm Corrigan Associates, as its president.

Edward, pictured, an ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales) chartered accountant, will represent the society’s members across Bristol, Gloucestershire, North Wiltshire and North Somerset.

He will be supported by deputy president Rick Sturge, business development executive with Concentrix.

Edward said: “I feel privileged to represent ICAEW members in the wider business community of the South West.

“This is a confident and diverse business environment and our members make a huge contribution to it.  I’m particularly keen to engage with our younger and newly-qualified members and encourage their early involvement in it.”
