Double appointment at accountants Whyatt Pakeman

Clifton-based chartered accountants Whyatt Pakeman Partners have appointed Carl Willcock as a tax accountant and Zara Harris as an accounting assistant.

Carl qualified as a chartered accountant in 2005 and last year became a chartered tax advisor.

As a personal tax specialist he has more than 10 years’ experience within a Top 10 firm and two regional firms and has covered corporate tax and private client work in both an advisory and compliance capacity.

Bristolian Carl attended the University of the West of England (UWE) where he graduated with a degree in geography in 2001.

Zara Harris joins from a local firm and is training for the chartered accountancy examinations.

She is experienced in accounts preparation from client records and incomplete records for clients turning over up to £2m in sectors such as construction, IT, retail, restaurants and farming.

She is also experienced in monthly management accounts, bookkeeping, accounts analysis and tax returns.

Zara also graduated from UWE in 2009 with a degree in forensic science.
