Developer joins Scott Logic’s software consultancy team

Bristol software development firm Scott Logic has made a further addition to its growing workforce. Paulin Shek has joined as a software developer after spending a year working as a data science consultant with Mango Solutions in Chippenham.

Originally from Wimborne, Dorset, Paulin, pictured, graduated from the University of Oxford with a degree in Maths and Computer Science before starting her career. 

She said: “I came across Scott Logic in my search for technology companies based in Bristol. I’m really enjoying the role so far; everyone is really friendly and I particularly like the culture of continuous learning Scott Logic has.

“Everyone in the team clearly takes pride in doing a good job for their clients, and I look forward to doing the same.”

Scott Logic, which specialises in software for the financial sector, is now in its 11th year having gone from a start-up with three staff to a headcount of more than 180 across four offices.

Head of development in Bristol, Nic Hemley, said: “It‘s great to welcome another talented individual to augment our software consultancy team.

“I’m really looking forward to working closely with Paulin and building her skillset in modern application development.”

Scott Logic has celebrated its 10 anniversary having gone from a start-up with three staff to a headcount of more than 180 across its offices in London, Edinburgh and Newcastle upon Tyne as well as Bristol.

It has a number of longstanding clients from a range of sectors including investment banking, financial services, energy trading and oil and gas. It provides a broad range of services including User Experience (UX) design, project delivery and testing
