West of England employment agency Juice Recruitment has launched a creative division to supply skilled staff to firms in the Bristol area’s burgeoning media, digital and tech sectors.

Juice, which has an office in Bristol, said the new division would help overcome the skills shortage that are impacting on firms in the fast-growing sectors.

According to a recent Tech Nation report, more than 36,540 people are employed in digital tech businesses across Bristol and Bath. Employment in the sectors has grown by 9% since 2011 and turnover has increased by 53%.

The new division will specialise in jobs in marketing, digital and creative firms and will be led by senior recruiters Hannah Williams and Kate Davis, supported by resourcer Lily Jack.

Juice managing director Emma Summers said: “We understand the importance of a strong new candidate – one who is able to understand the vision of the business and has the ambition and drive to make a difference. We thrive on matching this talent to our clients’ business needs to ensure the contribution of the employees we place is outstanding.

“Working across marketing, digital and creative, we are able to offer market guidance and careers advice.

“Our team of recruiters operates in markets where they have a real interest and can identify exceptional candidates. They use their industry knowledge, understanding and networks to demonstrate their expertise.”

Bath-based media firm Digitalbox has already benefitted from Juice Recruitment’s creative division.

Content director Jim Douglas said: “Juice has been fantastic helping us expand our creative team. They’re fast, professional and easy to work with.

“Every candidate Hannah put forward was a potential fit – not always the case with agencies -and we have hired five great new team members.”

Juice Recruitment, which has its headquarters in Bath and offices in Cheltenham and Wiltshire, recently announced plans to expand its operation and open offices in Cardiff, Exeter and Oxford later this year.
