BPP University College, the leading specialist provider of higher education with a base in Bristol, is offering participants in this year’s Bristol Young Student of the Year Awards the opportunity of a lifetime – the chance to win a funded place on one of its courses.

All the students taking part in the competition, which provides Bristol’s 16 year old-plus State school students with the opportunity to develop their employability skills, are eligible to apply. The winner will receive a scholarship for an apprenticeship course in accountancy or a degree course in accountancy, law or business at BPP’s Queen Square centre.

Students need to submit an entry explaining why they are best placed for the scholarship. All entries will be judged by a panel of BPP Executives and the award will be made at the end of the Bristol Young Student of the Year competition.

Bristol Young Student of the Year Awards organiser Elaine Brown said: “We have been overwhelmed by the positive feedback from all participating students, schools and sponsors and are thrilled that BPP University College is offering this fantastic opportunity.

“It really sums up exactly what the competition is about – helping students to drive forward to the next level.”

BPP Bristol & South West managing director Jonathan Snary added: “Having been involved in this competition from the start and seen the talent among the Bristol students taking part, we are really delighted to be able to offer a practical and focused opportunity.”

A limited number of sponsorship opportunities for these prestigious awards are still available. Businesses can register their support or interest on the website at www.bristolyoungtalent.co.uk or email elaine@bristolyoungtalent.co.uk.
