CBRE Bristol office invests in next generation of property professionals with four new joiners

Four new team members have been appointed to the Bristol office of global real estate advisor CBRE as part of its Next Generation programme supporting those embarking on a career in property.

New joiners Matt Panes, Eimear Kelly, Grace Newey and James Vasey, pictured, follow in the footsteps of CBRE managing director, Midlands and South, and Bristol office head Tom Morris, who also first joined the company through its graduate scheme.

Grace joins as a graduate surveyor on CBRE’s Project Management Pathway following her BSC in Real Estate Management, while fellow graduate surveyor James Vasey has joined via the firm’s Commercial Pathway after his a BSC in Zoology and an MSC in Real Estate.

Graduate building surveyor Matt Panes joins following his BSC in Building Surveying while Eimear, who has recently completed her A-levels, is now undertaking her first rotation in property management.

CBRE next generation lead for the Midlands and South, Nikita Fackrell, joined the firm as a graduate in 2016 and is currently an associate director in its lease advisory team, based in Bristol.

She said: “Commercial property can take you so many places as a career path and I’m passionate about raising awareness of the many opportunities there are across our sector.

“Eimear, Grace, James and Matt each bring a fresh perspective to the business and I’m confident that they all have exciting careers ahead of them.”

The new starters join six graduates and three apprentices currently working in CBRE’s Bristol office.

Tom Morris, pictured, added: “We’re seeing the real benefits of having a dedicated intake of apprentices and graduates each year and I’m excited to be welcoming our latest cohort.

“I know the team here will be on hand to help them settle into their new roles and I’m already impressed with their enthusiasm and willingness to learn.”
