Real estate sector experts from Bristol-headquartered national law firm Burges Salmon have advised property development and construction group Skanska UK on a £8m residential development land sale in Bath.

The Burges Salmon team, led by real estate partner Ross Polkinghorne, advised Skanska on all real estate aspects of deal to Bath-based Kersfield Developments. The site has been sold with planning permission for 39 homes.

In July Burges Salmon’s real estate team advised Skanska on the sale of a large development holding in Cambridge to Crest Nicholson for £35m. The firm is also retained on Skanska’s 61,000 sq ft flagship 66 Queen Square speculative office now under development in Bristol.

Ross Polkinghorne said: “We are delighted to have advised our long-standing client on this transaction and look forward to working with Skanska UK on further investments and property developments.”
