The AER provides specialist information and advice to search and selection consultants and the opportunity to tackle the leading issues affecting the executive search industry. It promotes insight into the most pressing current issues, including the future of leadership, good corporate governance and improving diversity in UK boardrooms.

The AER also played an influential role in relation to the Government’s Women on Boards agenda and continues to work with a range of key stakeholders to promote gender equality at the senior level and increase awareness of good recruitment practices.

Craig said: “Being a member of the AER sets the quality standard for professionalism within the industry. It shows clients, both recruiting and looking for a position, that you are a knowledgeable professional in your field and abide by a very strict code of conduct.

“I’m excited by this role and the opportunity it gives me to really raise the profile of recruitment services.”

REC member relations and policy manager Samantha Barker added: “Craig has taken up his role with commitment and enthusiasm and I have no doubt he will work hard for members of the AER and the wider search and selection industry across the UK regions.

“I am very much looking forward to working with him further, as the AER takes forward their programme of policy work and priorities for the year.”

Rosemont recently achieved the sought after Investors in People Silver Award, which recognises best practice in areas such as learning and development, leadership skills and staff recognition.

The firm specialises in senior level recruitment in the built environment, residential development, building and civil engineering, consulting engineering and architectural and town planning.
