National law firm Bevan Brittan has appointed Tim Rowe as a partner in its Bristol-based property practice.

Tim, pictured, joins from TLT Solicitors, where he worked for nearly 10 years and was a partner. He specialises in commercial property with a particular emphasis on large-scale development projects for landowners, and has acted on a number of nationally recognised mixed use development projects.

His appointment takes Bevan Brittan’s property practice to nine partners.

Tim’s biggest client is the Canal & River Trust (formerly British Waterways Board) for which he has acted for many years. He also has a number of significant instructions for the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and a range of other public and private sector clients.

Bevan Brittan head of property Mark Calverley said Tim was joining at a time when the firm was expanding its practice amid growing demand for advice on property developments and transactions.

“His extensive experience will add to the strength and depth of our team,” he said.

Tim Rowe added: “I am very pleased to be joining Bevan Brittan. They have a strong reputation in the marketplace and are a firm with clear ambition for growth. There is a clear synergy between my practice and that of this firm. I look forward to working with my new colleagues to deliver effective solutions for our clients.”

Tim is recognised as a real estate expert by Chambers UK, the independent guide to the legal profession’s top lawyers.

Bevan Brittan also has offices in London, Leeds and Birmingham.
