National law firm Excello has made its first move into the Bristol legal market with the appointment of an experienced property dispute resolution specialist based in the city.

Sarah Taylor, pictured, has joined the firm from the Bristol head office of Burges Salmon, where she was a senior associate for nearly three years.

Excello said Sarah, who has also worked in Bath for Royds Withy King (now RWK Goodman) and in the Bristol office of Bevan Brittan, brought a wealth of experience to the firm as it continues its nationwide expansion.

Excello was founded in 2009 as one of the first law practices to adopt a limited liability company structure.

It describes itself as a national, new-model law firm “providing a more dynamic, forward-thinking and independent environment in which to practise for senior lawyers, underpinned by unparalleled administrative, compliance and technological support”.

It has grown to 200 partner-level lawyers, has experienced year-on-year growth averaging 20% and has a network of 11 offices across England, including three in London. Its services range from business & corporate, real estate and employment to private client and immigration.

Excello said Sarah Taylor, who will cover the South West for the firm, was a highly regarded professional known for her proficiency in property dispute resolution.

Excello Law chief operating officer Jo Losty added: “Her impressive background and dedication to excellence align seamlessly with our firm’s values.

“We are confident that her skills and expertise will further enhance our ability to deliver exceptional legal services to our clients.

“Additionally, Sarah’s arrival is a key component of our strategic plan to expand our presence in Bristol and the surrounding regions.

“We see tremendous opportunities in this area and are excited about the prospect of further contributing to the local legal landscape.”

Sarah said she had been impressed with Excello Law’s approach to the delivery of legal services, along with its friendly and collaborative culture.

“It is an ambitious firm, and I am excited to be involved as it plays a significant role in changing the way that legal services are delivered,” she added.

“Being a consultant lawyer gives me the opportunity to focus on the things that I enjoy – delivering excellent client service, building client relationships, and providing commercial and timely advice to clients.”
