Nine lawyers from the Bristol office of Clarke Willmott are among the latest round of promotions at the national law firm.
Commercial and private client litigation lawyer David Stedman, Laura Robbetts from the property litigation team and Jacqui Lazare, who specialises in private capital, have been made partner. 
Making the switch from associate to senior associate in Bristol are James Marshall (commercial litigation), Emma Ironside, (litigation), Vanessa Harris (clinical negligence) and Sophie Bedwell (commercial property).
Also promoted are solicitors Rachel Tonkinson in private capital and Henry Russell in property litigation, who are now associates.
Clarke Willmott CEO Peter Swinburn, pictured, who was elected to the role last month, said the promotions reflected the firm’s commitment to people development.

Head of Clarke Willmott’s Bristol Office, Alex Jakubowski, said he was delighted to see home-grown talent making waves in the firm and beyond.
“Most of this year’s promotions are of lawyers who joined the firm as paralegal, trainees or NQ solicitors. This says a lot and showcases the culture of a firm which gives young lawyers the space to grow and to thrive,” he added.
