Fast-growing recruitment agency Aligra has opened a branch in Bristol as it expands into the West of England for the first time.

The group launched in 2007 with a single office in Swindon and has since expanded with branches in Andover, Didcot, Newbury and Hinckley, Leicestershire.

Having achieved a 220% increase in sales over the past two years, it now has plans to open five further offices over the next two years.

Multi award-winning Aligra’s Bristol office will cover a range of sectors from transport, logistics & supply chain to professional & executive and automotive & engineering.

Operations manager Leah Blanchard, pictured, who heads the Bristol office on Prince Street, said: “I’m excited to have the opportunity to lead Aligra in Bristol and look forward to providing the highest quality of service to our clients and helping people find the perfect job.”

Aligra founder and managing director Mark Neilson added: “The opening of our Bristol branch marks the continuation of our expansion plans with five additional branch openings planned for the next 24 months.

“We know that Leah’s leadership will bring success to the new branch, and we look forward to the future of Aligra.
“Bristol is a city that is rich in talent and opportunity. Aligra is committed to helping businesses in Bristol recruit the very best talent.”

The agency recently launched a hospitality & events division for annual showcases such as Cheltenham Festival and Royal Ascot.
