West Country dairy brand Yeo Valley has hired Bristol communications agency Wild West to produce an integrated campaign focused on its sustainability and organic messaging.

The account was won by Wild West, along with its London-based sister agency Wild Card, following a competitive pitch.

The two have combined to form a team to deliver a campaign that includes consumer and trade PR, influencer marketing and corporate support, with a focus on increasing consumer awareness of Yeo Valley as a sustainable brand.

Blagdon-based family-owned Yeo Valley, best known for its range of organic yogurts, is now owned and managed by the second generation of the founding Mead family.

The firm is Britain’s leading organic dairy brand, as well as a thriving centre of food and farming activity.

Yeo Valley managing director Adrian Carne said: “We want to inspire everyone to work towards a world in which we live in a more sustainable way.

“At Yeo Valley we take a lead from nature in the way that we farm and in the products that we make. We’re organic down to our roots but we’re still looking to do more and share our story.

“We look forward to taking this message far and wide in the months to come. And this is why we chose to work with Wild Card and Wild West; we were impressed with their approach to, and experience with, consumer brand communications when in partnership with sustainability and environmental issues.”

Wild Card and Wild West Communications founder Kate Wild added: “Now, more than ever, businesses and brands have a role to play in inspiring positive change for a more sustainable way of life.

“With a fantastic product portfolio borne from real values that run through everything the brand does, Yeo Valley is perfectly placed to champion that positive change and we look forward to being part of that.”

Wild West, which has its headquarters in Cornwall, has a client list that includes The Eden Project, Harbour Hotels, Pendennis superyachts and Falmouth University.
