‘Brightest and best’ of city’s legal sector shortlisted for Bristol Law Society awards

The Bristol Law Society has announced the shortlisted individuals and firms for its coveted annual awards, which will be presented at its annual dinner next month.

The event is regarded as the highlight of the Bristol legal year, with the awards recognising the brightest and best of those working in the local legal community.

The master of ceremonies at this year’s dinner on October 15 is BBC legal correspondent Clive Coleman. The event, sponsored by UWE and staged at the Marriott City Centre Hotel, is sold out.

Bristol Law Society president Michael Gupwell said: “Thank you to everyone who nominated in this years’ process and our particular congratulations to everyone who received a nomination.

“The nominations really are testament to the great legal work that is undertaken by both firms and individuals across the Bristol and Bath region.

“The judging panel had the unenviable task of shortlisting from the many nominations received, nominations which show the amazing work done the length and breadth of our region.”
