Accountancy firm Smith & Williamson is hosting a high-level briefing session at its Bristol office for finance directors and senior finance staff to update them on the latest developments in financial reporting.
The event will help FDs and their teams stay abreast of recent and planned changes in the regulatory environment along with other topical financial issues.
Speakers include Smith & Williamson consultant Paul Gee, who is author of Elsevier’s UK GAAP for Business and Practice, co-author of Tottel’s Financial Reporting for Smaller Companies, and co-author of Pearson’s Interpreting Company Reports and Accounts, 10th Edition.
Paul was general editor of Butterworth’s Financial Reporting and Accounting Service for more than 11 years.
The event takes places between 8am and 10.30am on October 11 at Smith & Williamson’s Portwall Place offices.
