Alan Thorpe has been named as the new managing director of Bristol-based digital and direct marketing agency Bray Leino Yucca.

The appointment of Alan, pictured right, follows the sudden death in October of the business’ founder and long-time leader Ben Martin, pictured below.

Alan, who has spent the past two years as Bray Leino Yucca’s data and digital director, takes charge of Bray Leino Yucca with immediate effect after a difficult few weeks for the team.

He brings with him extensive industry experience and a successful track record. He has a clear passion for new technology and its ability to inspire innovation and transformative, data-led digital solutions.

He will continue to drive Bray Leino Yucca’s growing customer engagement capabilities to deliver outstanding results for new and existing clients.

Alan said: “I am privileged to take forward the business which Ben led for so many years. Bray Leino Yucca has an excellent, knowledgeable and experienced team and I am fully committed to helping them continue to grow and thrive.”

Executive chairman Giles Lee added: “This has been a difficult time during which the Bray Leino Yucca team have performed admirably. It’s our responsibility to ensure the business has strong leadership to take it forward and I’m glad Alan has stepped up to provide that.”

Bray Leino Yucca employs 45 people and is part of the Bray Leino Group, which has offices in Devon, Bristol, London, the US and Asia.
