A team of 14 riders from regional accountancy firm Bishop Fleming will take part in this year’s Break The Cycle event – one of 101 teams aiming to raise a total of £101,000 to help disadvantaged young people in and around Bristol.

It is the fourth consecutive year the firm, which has its largest office in Bristol, has sponsored the event.

Organised by Bristol Rugby Community Foundation and Gloucester Rugby in the Community, Break The Cycle this year takes place on Sunday June 18. The route covers 100 miles over undulating rolling countryside between Ashton Gate in Bristol and Gloucester Rugby’s Kingsholm stadium.

Bristol-based Bishop Fleming partner and head of the firm’s charity group, Joe Scaife, said: “We are delighted to be both sponsoring and participating in this extremely worthwhile local event which raises vital funding to help disadvantaged young people in our local communities.

“We are proud to be involved for our fourth consecutive year and we’re looking forward to the challenge of the cycle and raising as much as we can for this very worthwhile cause.”
