Three of Bristol’s largest law firms have been named among the sector’s top employers in a prestigious annual survey.
Ashfords, Burges Salmon and Clarke Willmott appear alongside six other major firms in Legal Week’s 2016 Best Employers Report. 
The survey measures what employees in UK law firms think about their career progression, diversity, culture, management, pay, benefits and more.
It allows employees to give anonymous, honest feedback on what their firm is doing well and also how it could improve.
Ashfords has 75 partners has offices in London, Exeter, Taunton, Plymouth and Tiverton as well as Bristol.
Ashfords learning & development manager Hilary Stevenson said: “Being recognised as one of the best employers of 2016 is such an exciting and positive step for Ashfords and we are proud that our people rank working at the firm so highly.

Clarke Willmott has offices in Birmingham, Cardiff, London, Manchester, Southampton, and Taunton as well as Bristol, and employs around 100 partners and 400-plus staff.
Burges Salmon has more than 700 employees, including 360 lawyers and 85 partners, in its offices in Bristol and London.
Also on the list were Allen & Overy, RPC, Shoosmiths, Trowers & Hamlins, White & Case and Withers.
