Two more firms have moved into the Bath Road Studios office complex recently created at ITV’s landmark Bristol building.

IT support company Signal Networks has taken a five-year lease on the 1,773 sq ft Zone 9, while The Pilates Studio has leased a 1,037 sq ft ground floor studio, also on a five-year lease.

The Pilates Studio is new to Bristol, and follows the success of the company’s initial outlet in Taunton. It is expected to create six jobs.

Founder Karen Pearce said: “We had a careful look at property options in Bristol before choosing Bath Road Studios, which combines fresh and trendy space for our gymnasium with an excellent location and lots of free parking.”

Signal Networks, founded in 2000, provides IT consultancy, security and technical support to organisation such as the BBC, NHS and Disney. It is moving from the nearby Paintworks development.

Suites and offices ranging from 400 sq ft to 30,000 sq ft have been created at Bath Road Studios following a £1.2m refurbishment project by Cube Real Estate earlier this year.

The striking offices were designed by the award-winning London architectural practice Stiff & Trevillion, which also created the design concept for Jamie Oliver’s Jamie’s Italian restaurant in Bristol’s Park Street.

The new space is being marketed by the Bristol offices of leasing agents Knight Frank and Jones Lang LaSalle, with quoting rents from £12.50 per sq ft.

Joanna Crofts of Knight Frank said: “The success of these offices at the ITV studios building is a further boost to the city’s credentials as a hotspot for creative and media businesses.”
