Bristol law firm Barcan+Kirby is celebrating the relocation of its team in Gloucester Road to new office space.

The law firm, which has been part of the Gloucester Road business community for more than 40 years, has relocated its 29 staff to the improved setting in the former Barclays Bank building in Bishopston.

The new office is one of the firm’s six high street branches across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, from where it provides a comprehensive range of legal services.

These include residential conveyancing, family law and mediation, issues relating to Power of Attorney and wills and estate planning.

Barcan+Kirby managing partner Bill Willcocks, who hosted a reception for staff and clients at the new office earlier this week, said: “We are delighted to finally relocate our practice on Gloucester Road to new and improved space just down the road from where we started out.

“We really value our role within this thriving community as local high street solicitors and as an active supporter of the community.

“We have also relocated our commercial property team from our Clifton office, which will allow them to continue advising existing and new clients from larger premises.”

In 2019 Barcan+Kirby won Bristol Law Society’s Firm of the Year (under 20 partners) Award for the second time in four years. It was also won the business award for gender at the Bristol Diversity Awards 2019.
