Healthy growth is on the agenda at THE Medical, a Bristol-based business which specialises in relieving muscle and joint pain. It has just opened a new clinic at Temple Quay and is planning to open a further branch at Aztec West on April 2.
This expansion builds on the success of its first clinic which opened at Christmas Steps, Bristol, four years ago – and a second in Longwell Green – offering the skills of chiropractors, osteopaths, physiotherapists, sport massage therapists and acupuncturists to deliver individually tailored treatment plans.
Managing director Hazel Bugler said: “Our clinics are close to where people work and, by having a range of professionals available, we can make sure all our clients get the best possible treatment and the one that will be most effective for them. The second most common reason for long-term sickness at work is back problems, costing businesses millions of pounds every year.
"At THE Medical, we not only help people get better but also empower them to manage their condition. We don’t just want to patch up the problem but we also want to educate them so they understand how their injury happened and what they can do to help themselves in the future. This, in turn, leads to businesses losing less time and money through long-term employee sickness.”
THE Medical offers corporate discounts to businesses and can visit on-site to provide advice, give presentations, or deliver on-site treatment.
