Leading independent TV and film post-production specialists The Farm Group has become the latest firm to open a base at Bristol’s Bottle Yard Studios.

The multi-award winning company has worked on post production at the studio for Channel 4’s Deal or No Deal since the show relocated to there in 2013 from its previous home at Bristol’s Paintworks.

Now The Farm Group has opened a base at The Bottle Yard Studios to extend its post-production offering, including a digital dailies service, to other productions shooting at there and across the wider region. The move brings the number of business tenants operating from The Bottle Yard Studios to 15.

The Farm Group founder Nicky Sargent said: “We’re thrilled to be expanding the services we can offer in the South West and are looking forward to working closely with Fiona and her team to help The Bottle Yard Studios continue to grow as a creative centre of excellence.”

Fiona Francombe, Site Director of The Bottle Yard Studios, said: “The Farm Group’s presence means that for the first time we are able to offer a complete post service to productions based with us.

“Having them right here on site, means that their skilled and experienced team can be on hand to productions whenever they are needed, which is hugely convenient.

“Our tenant community has grown extensively in the past year and I’m pleased to say that we’re now home to a full range of facilities companies who can support productions at almost every stage of the production process, from pre-production to wrap.”

Founded by Nicola Sargent and Vikki Dunn in 1998, The Farm Group provides complete post production services out of its locations in London’s Soho, Manchester and Los Angeles as well as Bristol.

With more than 100 suites, the group works on some of the world’s most prestigious long-form television both in the UK and internationally. Recent credits include Indian Summers (Channel 4), Inside Harley Street (BBC Two), Uncle (BBC Three), 24 Hours in A&E (Channel 4), Agatha Raisin and the Quiche of Death (Sky1), Made in Chelsea (E4), The X Factor (ITV1) and Britain’s Got Talent (ITV1).  The Farm Group has received an Emmy, 9 RTS awards, 5 BAFTA TV Craft Awards and 4 Broadcast Awards for Best Post Production House for its high calibre of work.

The Bottle Yard Studios is the leading centre for film and TV production in the West of England, attracting a host of major UK and international productions, including most recently Poldark (BBC One), Wolf Hall (BBC Two), Sherlock (BBC One) and Galavant (Disney/ABC Studios).

Other recent additions to The Bottle Yard’s tenant community include location supplies company Location One, Emmy-award winning music and sound design company Radium Audio and Filmscape Media, a leading supplier of film and television equipment in the UK.
