Associate director promotions at Smith & Williamson’s Bristol office

The Bristol office of accountancy and investment management group Smith & Williamson has made two senior promotions.

Rebecca Tippet, who works in the assurance and business services team, and John Davies, a private client and charities investment specialist, have been promoted to associate director.

Rebecca has been with Smith & Williamson in Bristol for 12 years, having completed her graduate training at the firm. She works with a diverse portfolio of clients from SMEs to multi-national groups and AIM-listed companies and has a particular interest in law firms and the legal services market. She is part of Smith & Williamson’s professional practices group.

John joined the firm in 2012 having previously worked for Berry Asset Management in London. He is involved in the management of investments on behalf of private clients and charities. He is also a trustee of the Bristol Area Stroke Foundation and the Old Cliftonian Society.

The Bristol office, one of Smith & Williamson’s 11 principal UK bases, employs around 170 people.
