Smith & Williamson, the accountancy and investment management group, has promoted Simon Weston and Kelly Jones to associate directors in its Bristol office.
Simon has been with the firm since 1988 and leads its business outsourcing team in Bristol. As well as managing the accounts preparation process for clients, Simon helps them develop their internal management information systems, installing and upgrading software and training relevant staff. He has worked closely with many entrepreneurs, helping them through any growing pains and on to develop robust platforms for future expansion or exit.
Kelly, who joined the firm’s graduate programme in 2006 and qualified as a chartered accountant three years later, works in Smith & Williamson’s assurance and business services team, acting for SMEs as well as large private companies and public-listed entities. Kelly has strong international links and looks after a number of group audits with overseas presence.
