Associate appointment strengthens Bristol law firm TLT’s corporate team

Bristol-headquartered law firm TLT has appointed Jon Gill as an associate in its 14-strong corporate team.

Jon, pictured, who joins from Eversheds where he was a senior associate in the corporate team, specialises in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and private equity, with a particular interest in venture capital and the TMT (Technology, Media and Telecoms) sector.

He has extensive M&A experience, acting for international corporates on both acquisitions and strategic disposals, and has also spent six months on secondment to Barclays Ventures, the private equity division of Barclays Bank.

Jon’s recent transactions include the buy-out of HSS Hire by Exponent Private Equity, the financial restructuring of Gardman, and acting for NVM Private Equity on the buy-out of Silverwing.

TLT partner and head of the corporate team John Wood said: “Jon is a strategic addition to the team and his considerable expertise and experience will bring yet further strength to our existing associate group.”
