Ashfords boosts real estate team in Bristol with key lateral hire

Real estate lawyer Nicholas Lykke Dahn has joined West of England law firm Ashfords’ Bristol office as a property partner, bringing with him a clutch of blue-chip corporate clients.

Nicholas, pictured, joins after 11 years with Oxfordshire based commercial law firm BrookStreet des Roches where he specialised in commercial real estate and property finance. Prior to that he was an associate solicitor at international firm Linklaters.

His arrival strengthens Ashfords’ real estate team which now has 14 partners, seven associates and 15 solicitors.

Nicholas, who has more than 15 years’ experience in his field, specialises in commercial property work including investment acquisitions and disposals, joint ventures, property development, landlord and tenant advice, and secured lending. He has brought a number of clients with him including Allianz Global Corporate & Speciality SE, Bicester Heritage, KCG Group and Ovo Energy.

Ashfords’ real estate team offers a full range of legal services across all asset classes for a wide range of clients in the private and public sectors.

Principally based in Bristol, Nicholas will also work one day a week in the firm’s City of London office, where a number of his clients are based. Ashfords also has offices in Exeter, Taunton, Plymouth and Tiverton.
