Regional accountancy firm Milsted Langdon partner Roger Isaacs has added to his tally of awards after again being named as the UK’s leading Forensic Accountancy professional.

Roger, pictured, was honoured in the same category of the Lawyer Monthly Expert Witness Awards last year.

He again impressed judges at the prestigious awards with the depth and detail of his work within the industry.

Roger is no stranger to national awards. Last October he landed the title of Partner of the Year at the 2019 British Accountancy Awards in recognition of his work in significantly raising the profile of his specialist field in the UK.

Although based in Milsted Langdon’s Bristol office, Roger works nationally and internationally with a wide range of professionals and the courts, assisting with complex financial cases, where he is often called upon as an expert witness.

During the current lockdown he has given evidence in virtual hearings and has been publishing his thoughts about the challenges of valuing unquoted businesses during the Covid-19 pandemic.

He also plays an important role within Milsted Langdon itself by helping to guide the future direction of the practice and by providing support to his colleagues.

Roger is the deputy chair of the MGI Worldwide global accountancy association, former chair of the Forensic Advisory Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) and national technical director for NIFA (Network of Independent Forensic Accountants).

Speaking about his latest award, Roger said: “It is a real honour to be recognised once again. Forensic accountants play a vital role in helping the courts and legal professionals access the evidence they require to support cases and it is gratifying to see that our profession is being celebrated.”

Milsted Langdon also has offices in Bath, London, Taunton and Yeovil and offers a large range of services for businesses from routine compliance matters to specialist tax advice and planning, corporate finance, business intelligence, insolvency, forensic accounting and mediation services.
