Spencer Linsell has been appointed sales manager at Alderley Systems, part of the Alderley group of specialist engineering companies.

Spencer, pictured, brings with him a strong knowledge of integrated process and metering systems gained from working in the oil and gas industry for the past 10 years.

In his new role he will be responsible for the promotion of Wickwar, Gloucestershire-based Alderley’s metering and control systems business in the North Sea Continental Shelf (NSCS) area, Europe and Africa.

Alderley group business development director Eric Maddock said Spencer had joined as the group looks to continually strengthen its client relationships and build excellence in the metering industry.

“Spencer will be a great asset to the team and his responsibilities will also include building on our brownfield metering and control upgrade capability within NSCS, along with working on other strategically identified projects,” he said.

Spencer added: “I am excited to be joining Alderley to solely concentrate on delivering metering systems on both a domestic and international level.

“Working on the same site as our manufacturing facility will give me the opportunity to keep up to date with client projects as they are being built, tested and delivered – something I am looking forward to being a part of.”

The Alderley Group operates in the global oil, gas and petrochemical industries producing effective and efficient solutions for metering, processing, treating and controlling hydrocarbon products. It operates in more than 50 countries and has bases in the UAE, Russia, Saudi Arabia and Singapore.
