Bristol-headquartered law firm Gregg Latcham has appointed David Morris as its new head of construction in recognition of his strong performance as acting head for the past seven months.

David, pictured, has worked at the firm for just over five years and has a wide range of construction experience in contentious and non-contentious matters.

During his acting headship, he helped a client win a multi-million pound adjudication and delivered bespoke contracts for a number of major local developments.

He also leads Gregg Latchams’ regular Construction Breakfast, which reflects the firm’s collaboration with the industry. The next is on October 8 and will focus on ‘The Character of Development in Bristol’ with Mayor Marvin Rees among the panellists.

Gregg Latchams managing director Richard Hill said: “David has proven himself ahead of his peers in his field and we are thrilled to have offered him this role permanently.

“He delivers his in-depth knowledge of construction law in an approachable and personable manner which continues to be of immense value to his clients.”

Prior to joining Gregg Latchams David worked for law firms in Los Angeles and Nottingham.

Gregg Latchams, which also has offices in London, provides legal services for SMEs, private individuals and business owners across the UK and overseas.
