Transatlantic law firm Womble Bond Dickinson (WBD) has made six promotions to managing associate and associate roles in its Bristol office.

Jo Martin (employment), Ashley Borthwick (commercial disputes) and Sara Jones (operational property) have been promoted to managing associate while George Morton-Jack (planning & infrastructure), Heather Strickland (employment) and Mandy Robertson (commercial disputes) are now associates.

They join 21 similar promotions to managing associate and associate-level roles in other UK offices across the firm.

In addition, as part of its growth strategy nationally and regionally, WBD has appointed 17 new joiners to its Bristol office over the last couple of months.

Partner and head of Bristol office Julian Kinsey, pictured, said: “Congratulations to all our new managing associates and associates. We are immensely proud of the talent held in WBD and all those promoted have made a significant contribution to our firm that deserves to be recognised and celebrated.

“Our people are at the heart of what we do and we want them to enjoy long and successful careers with us. This is why we work hard to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to develop, grow and be rewarded for their success.”

Bristol, where Womble Bond Dickinson employs around 230 people, is the second largest of its eight UK offices. It also has 19 offices across the US.
