Trying to help small and medium sized enterprises achieve higher visibility is the aim of Bristol start up Marketing Clout.

The new agency is focused on helping businesses navigate the maze of social media sites, blogs and the rest which are now an essential part of every firm’s marketing mix.

Susie McFarland, director at Marketing Clout, said: “If businesses knew how many customers they were missing every day – simply because they’re not visible where they need to be, they’d be rethinking their marketing approach.

“We offer bespoke marketing packages for both small and medium-sized businesses,  covering everything from overall strategy to delivery, content writing, reporting and analysis.”

Marketing Clout has been set up Lucinda Brook and Susie McFarland, formerly department heads at Mason Zimbler. They are backed by Mark Mason, the entrepreneur behind the mobile applications company Mubaloo.
It is believed that Mr Mason has backed the new venture with a five-figure cash injection.
Lucinda Brook added: “Most businesses have dabbled with blogging and social media –but they quickly get disillusioned as they struggle to create compelling material tailored for today’s diverse audiences. Marketing Clout can help them stand out from the crowd and punch well above their weight.”
