Bristol’s 116-bedroom Mercure Brigstow Hotel has been put up for sale with a guide price of £9m.

The four-star hotel, on Welsh Back next to Bristol Bridge, has four meeting rooms and a break-out area to cater for the corporate market as well as a bar and riverside restaurant. The asking price is equivalent to £77,500 per bedroom.

James Bradley, an associate in Savills hotel team, which has been jointly instructed with Leisure Property Services to market the property, said: “Bristol’s hotel market is outperforming the UK regional average and this property’s excellent city centre, waterside location makes it a popular choice for international tourists, business travellers and domestic visitors alike. We have already received significant interest in this opportunity, which we expect to continue.”

The investment is subject to an operational lease with full Accor SA guarantee.
