Bristol-based recruitment specialist Rosemont has expanded its leadership team with the promotion of Paul Blackwell to the position of research manager.

Paul will lead the research teams supporting the firm’s construction and property, consulting engineering and architecture practices.

The re-organisation comes in response to rapid growth at Rosemont as demand for candidates in these fields remains high.

Paul joined the Aztec West-based firm in February 2014 and is a fully accredited recruitment consultant and a Member of the Institute of Recruitment Practitioners (MIRP).

He will also be responsible for the ongoing professional development of the team through the Rosemont Academy, set up by the firm last year.

Paul said: “No two clients are the same. With a market so dynamic and fast moving, it’s critical that that both clients and candidates benefit from an in-depth knowledge of the marketplace. That is why we have established specific divisions focusing on different disciplines, and research teams dedicated to those divisions.”

Paul’s promotion follows the recent appointment of Mark Hooper and Andy Cooper as associates heading up the construction and consulting engineering divisions respectively.

Meanwhile, team secretary Becky Lewis has also been promoted to personal assistant to the management team.

Rosemont founder and managing director Craig Davidge said: “We are expanding rapidly in response to the current high demand for good quality candidates at mid to senior management level as the property and construction industry continues to recover and grow, both commercially and domestically, across all our core sectors.

“The importance of an added-value candidate and client experience has never been so important, which is why we have established a very forensic approach to search and placement.

“We need to know what’s going on in the marketplace from the roots up and our research teams allow us to have that intelligence.”

Craig formed Rosemont Recruitment in 2012. It specialises in senior level recruitment in the built environment, residential development, building and civil engineering, consulting engineering and architectural and town planning.

The company is a member of the Association of Executive Recruiters and has recently achieved Silver Investors in People.
